Activities & Entertainment

We offer a variety of activities for residents- details are displayed on the residents noticeboard.

Activities vary according to the time of the year and the wishes of residents. If you have a particular interest or hobby, please let a member of staff know and we will endeavour to make relevant activities available.

You don’t have to participate in any activity unless you wish to. If you prefer to carry out your hobby or interest in your own room, we will do what we can to help arrange this.

     Our residents and daycare visitors enjoy playing a variety of games together, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter and friendly competition. It’s a wonderful way to keep active, socialise, make friends and, most importantly, have fun together!

    There’s never a dull moment at Pendennis!

    We enjoy a wonderful variety of entertainment, including visits from talented singers who get everyone smiling, singing along and sometimes even dancing! Our entertainment brings residents and daycare visitors together for fun, laughter and special moments to remember.

  • Parties

    We respect your wishes on how and if you wish to celebrate your birthday and other special occasions.. We are always happy to bake a cake and help you arrange a celebration.

  • Arts & Crafts

    Getting creative is always fun at Pendennis!

    Our residents and daycare visitors enjoy a variety of arts and crafts, from painting and colouring to making beautiful seasonal decorations. It’s a lovely way to express creativity, relax, socialise and, most importantly, have fun together while creating something to be proud of!

  • Furry Friends

    We love welcoming our furry friends to Pendennis!

    Visits from the animals bring so much happiness, comfort and plenty of smiles to our residents and daycare visitors. Everyone enjoys spending time stroking, cuddling and interacting with the animals, making their visits a very special treat that we always look forward to!

  • Spending time in the Garden

    There’s nothing quite like spending time in the garden!

    Our residents and daycare visitors love getting outdoors to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and beautiful surroundings. Whether it’s admiring the flowers, having a chat, enjoying a refreshing drink or simply sitting back and listening to the birds, time in the garden is a wonderful opportunity to relax, socialise and enjoy the beauty of nature together.
